Yesterday marked the 42nd annual Earth Day, which is celebrated in over 175 countries by over a billion people worldwide. Here at Pineapple House Interior Design we celebrate Earth Day everyday by looking for sustainable ways to design a home.  Who says you can’t update your home’s interior and be green at the same time?

Our in-house Art Department can alter, repair and redesign your existing furniture. We can bring new life back into your pieces by refurbishing your sofas or refinishing your cabinetry. We also offer our clients eco-friendly paint alternatives with no or low VOC’s, as well as green faux finish and plaster techniques.

We do our best to reduce or carbon footprint by allowing our designers to work paperless from any project site. And we also recycle everything from cardboard and plastic to excess fabric and sample books.

During phase one of the development, designers are pleased to discuss the many green options that are available to you. Recycling by re-use can lessen both the impact on the earth and that on your wallet.
